<< <i>ignore the cretins, they are coin snobs. >>
Honestly there are some stamps worth a great deal of money depending on the variety and condition of the stamp.
I also got a sheet of uncut Classic Movie Monsters..... Too Cool for School Daddy-o!

<< <i>imsellingstamps, there are pricing and grading guides as well as instructions for submitting them for elvaulation on the home page of the Collectors Universe, ignore the cretins, they are coin snobs.

And those are our good points.
I like Elvis and Buddy Holly too, both stamps sell for more than face value. (and they were great singers!) The Classic movie monsters sound cool too. My husband collects albums and restores classic cars, he is restoring a 1958 Ford Fairlane right now.

Hmmmm...........can't argue with that.
I also have the Comic Strip Classics..
does anybody have any idea if Betty Boop was ever on a stamp? US or World?

Only a 10¢ stamp? Guess you have to lick Betty more then three times as much.

Showoff.
<< <i>you coin Cretins! I'm talking real stamps with Betty Boop! >>
Yeah, I know, but coins are made out of metal and they're shiny and they ring when you flip them and they're just plain cool. Even those half dollars from the fifties are cool. You know the ones, they got a bell on the back.

Can't argue with that either, I like coins too. I love my stamps, and none of mine are for sale.

<< <i>Crazy!!! Where can the HepKitty buy some????? >>
You can find this souvenir sheet here
<< <i>49.00 for a Betty Boop souvenier sheet from Gambia!?!? I'm sorry but that's insane.Even if they were U.S.A.issued seamps that's still way too much, and yes I'm a coin snob or whatever but I still like stamps. >>
Can't argue with that. The one I showed LucyBop is $6.99. Souvenir sheets can get pricey.
<< <i>If you click on the link for that Gambia stamp ,(in a frame? what the hell do they do that for?) It is on sale for $22.50. Still too pricey for me but, anyway...FYI. >>
Some of those sheets look pretty nice in a frame.I've some Duck hunting stamps in frames with sets that go back to some of the earliest ones issued which I'm sure you know are quite valuable.

Sorry.

I have never been big on stamps in frames, seems like a cheat on art, and they don't fit in the album very well.
