First, what were you hoping for (especially on the '80s hockey) when you submitted the cards?

I'd say the '74 Reggie Jackson is a nice one - let me know if you want to sell it. Not sure about the hockey cards. Are these cards tough to find in PSA 8? I know nothing about them.

  • I got the exact grades I thought I would get - I just wanted to test myself on the midrange grades against PSA 's standards before I sent in more cards.

I bought the Jackson for $3.00 but I needed it for my 74 set, sorry

The hockey cards I bought as as set and those 3 were a pretty accurate range of my set if I wanted to sell it - I just wanted the Lemieux encapsulated.

These were 4 of my 6 free submissions, so it was primarily a test

I'm sure a PSA graded Lemieux, even in a PSA 7, will assure you of a decent price if you decide to sell it. Looks like you've got a good eye for what PSA is looking for and you should do well on future submissions. Good luck!
