WH needs to hire more help so he can spend more time keeping lazy bums like us updated on this stuff like he used to.
The 51-D isn't the only one with crazy pop increases in MS67RD.

Do not fall into the error of the artisan who boasts of twenty years experience in his craft while in fact he has had only one year of experience... twenty times.
You are on the right track. The week of May 24, the pop in ms67 went from 31 to 49. Must have been a great submission - of 22 added to the pop report, 4 were 66s and 18 were 67s.
Someone made 2 MS67RD 58-P's recently as well. Watch the POPs on the 1941-49's in 3 weeks. I had 43 free submissions so I sent in the choicest few coins from my hoard.
As for the 68, I suspect some of the coins graded have been 68's, its just that they won't get the grade. The risk is too high for PCGS. Imagine what a POP1 MS68 would go for in today's market. Say 5 years from now it turns into a pumpkin - ala PF70 recently- and someone sends it back and wants the $25K back. Its not going to happen.

We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
