A couple of Jeff prices from TT: It pays to shop around...

Observations on a couple of PCGS coins up on Teletrade tonight:

1971-S PR-69 DCAM (even after a recent pop uptick): $4,300. (Hmmm, I know where one can be had for less than half the price and it's probably a better coin.) Hey, I appreciate a good modern, but this is mad money ... a fool and his money ...

1967 SMS MS-66 DCAM: $450. (Sounds reasonable for a 18/7 coin).

  • I was surprised by that '71-S. I tried selling mine for half that but still have it.

This morning I received an inquiry about my coin image If that gentleman doesn't take it I will try eBay again. Naturally I'd like to flush out the underbidder for that coin.
  • BTW thanks for thinking mine might be nicer. It sure does have super thick frost. However I haven't seen the one on TT so can't say which is nicer.

That is a very, very surprising price for that '71-S!!! I was an underbidder, but a waaaay-underbidder! image I wonder if this is an anomaly or if the Jeff proof market is picking up strength?

  • $4730 on the 71-S with the juice and no image !!!!!!!!!!!
The last 4 or five were made about the same time.
Do you suppose someone is trying to manipulate prices ?
    Pop. 10 and $4730...........................
If this is the pricing trend, what is my 71-no S Pop. 1 worth ?

    $47,300 LOL,
