First please let me say what a durn great day I'm having! My family woke up in good moods. The weather is perfect. I've been able to post several photos to various threads. Ahhhh, this is the life
I came across this coin while looking for older slabs I might send to NGC hoping for a star. I've posted scans of this coin last year, but they just don't capture the pastel nature of the lime green and sky blue. This photo is much better, though I'm sure many could improve on it.

If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!

And I've been working up a new set catagory. How does "the cool toned coin of no particular type set" sound?
Ken
I would sell you this coin, except I wouldn't want to charge you what it would cost to get it out of my hands! I would buy your coin at a premium, but I do have my limits...
Can anyone figure out how to have an auction where to be eligible to bid you must offer a coin for sale? I mean if Ken wants my coin and I want his how can we establish a price? Perhaps some other of you have an awesome toned Merc and are willing to trade for one of ours? How can such an auction be structured? The rules should be fair... Every bidder must also be a willing seller... Too much for me now!!! I'm going to bed...
How about you two go double or nothing? Pick someone you can both trust, and have him flip a coin to see who gets the matching pair? Would be even better if you two could meet at a show and do it in person! You could do rock, paper, sissors, or maybe just cut for high card. Let me know, I want to sell tickets!

Flipping coins, cutting cards or rock, paper, scissors leaves to much to chance. No Gambling here. Now if we could play a round of Golf or a game of Cribbage, I would be up for that.
I learned my lesson about selling Toned coins. Just look at Wayne's Icon.....still kicking myself for selling that coin.
