Mercury set guys here is one of my coins I sold earlier this year

it is a 18 s in ms66. It is a pop top coin with no ms67's. The coin has great toning on the obverse (Fairlane!!!!) I know that when I bought the coin about a year ago it was only a 4/0 coin and now I believe there are 9 in the pop report. All of the extra coins came while I owned the coin so I am pretty sure someone was trying to get a 67.

I would recommend this coin if it will fit into your collection and please tell them Jason sent you and ask for Bonnie.

18-6 in ms66

    JB,

I was lucky to pick up one in the same grade in a Heritage sale in Jan., and what a gorgous example -
I agree with you this condition is rare, and I have not seen any offered in the past year nor in the last couple years going to '99. In fact something like 4-5 examples sold in 66FB all for like 6-8 times the price.

I wonder too about those few pcs added on to pop report ....anyone have anything to add to this mystery??

    JB,

That's one sweet-looking '18-S. I love that kind of toning. The new owner will be very pleased with it.
