FIDO??

I have alot of coins in my Album that are labeled Fido such as......a 1941 Wheat Penny with a Shifted One and than it says Fido and I have others that say that too. Any idea what Fido means?

    For the lazy, I'll save you the click: it's an old school acronym for an error coin: Freaks, Irregulars, Defects and Oddities. Catch-all term commonly used before authors like Alan Herbert or Arnie Margolis gave technical names to different error types.

  • Wow now it makes me wonder what all of these different errors might be guess I need to pull out the magnifying glass.

    Anyone know of any books that would have tokens in them? I have quite a sizable quantity.
