I would appreciate your comments on this 76 type 1 proof IKE

Me and Trish have been working on completing our IKE PCGS PF69DC set for a while. Well tonight I decided to bid on the 1976 Type 1 Clad Proof PCGS69DC. We do not do any bidding on E-Bay so I don't know if I got hosed or not. I bid on it through Teletrade and I plan on using the $25.00 voucher they sent me. So after all is said and done it will cost me just under 200 beans.

I guess my questions are:
1. Could I have gotten a better deal on E-Bay or a Forum Member?
2. After looking at many other Type 1's I have yet to see one with a complete solid frost on all of the letterings on the reverse, which is the case on the one I bought. Is this pretty much the norm, or have I been just looking at a bunch of low end stuff on Teletrade.
3. There looks like some markings on the obverse and reverse of the coin, I believe this is just on the holder and not the coin what do you think.

Well if it is a good deal cool, if it's not, well then I think Trish is going to hide my wallet for awhile. She is tickled non the less because now she gets to spend an equal value on her Darkside coins.

$200 or there about, is a pretty good deal on this scarce date. I have seen them sell for around $300 pretty consistantly, and just have recently dropped to the $250 range.

I doubt you would find it cheaper, especially getting to use the voucher.

It looks good to me and a heck of a good deal. I`m tring for a set of Proof 69DCAM Ikes myself and noticed the same about the frost as well. Below are a few links. The first is is a 78 that I have and about as good as it gets. R&I Coins is a great place to go for the Ike`s ( and a tad on the high side of prices but the quality is there ). David Lawrence is another good place to go as well. Price wise Teletrade/ E-Bay/ Forum Members, you`ll be able to get some nice coins at good prices. Your Ike there is a good example at that. The picture looks a tad dark and may look better in person. I like it personally.
