Love Tokens

I have not read a single thread about love tokens, so I thought I would start one. How many here collect love tokens as a passing fancy or as a full fledged dedicated collection?

I have one seated dime love token and have seen quite a few I liked but just haven't bought more as the price gets a bit higher for nicer coins and I don't have anywhere to put them (within a set).

Recently I passed on a dime or quarter I can't recall which, that had the lords prayer inscribed on the back. Now this is no easy feat for a coin the size of a dime or quarter. Anyway, it was a beautiful coin and I truly wish I had bought it.

Please post scans of your favorite love tokens and tell me which ones or types you collect.

I don't collect them, but I've been looking for one with my wife's initials on it for over a year. I have a saved search on ebay plus I check at the few shows I get to. There was a silver dollar on ebay with her first name on it a few months ago but it went for way more than I was willing to pay. I still have the thrill of the hunt, though!

I find some of them very interesting. One of my numismatic regrets is not bidding on a seated dime love token with a reverse inscription of "PC". It had EF+ details and neat toning--I simply forgot to bid. I saved the auction image, but I can't seem to find it.

I have about 12 pages full of Love Tokens.......the one I love though is the one my grandfather first gave me it had his initials on it CLB and is on a 1932 Dime. Its one of my many favorites have never added any more to it but you know that is something to consider.

I have been interested in acquiring one but, as of yet, have not found one that has spoken to me enough to purchase it.

I lucked out and found one on Ebay with my wife's initials. The seller was smart enough to put the initials in his auction title, so finding it was easy.

We typically don't come across them very often, but this piece we just found is kinda neat (disregard the copyright notice...I hadn't bothered to update the watermark).

Very cool love token Nencoin! Here is one on Ebay that isn't quite a love token but historically accurate and it sold for a chunk of change. I really wanted this one as tokens on coins bigger than a quarter are much scarcer.
