Better value now and in the future, MS64FBL or MS65 non FBL Franklins?

What are everyone's thoughts on this? Are the non FBL Franklins in MS 65 a better value than the MS64FBL? I'm thinking about trying to put a set toghether and was wondering what others thoughts might be.

They just maybe a better value...... You can score many GEMS in ms65 rather inexpensively, some of the 60s issues will still cost you some... I've got a 1963p ms65 available for sale, this GEM is very close to a brilliant ms66......

  • First and foremost, collect what you will like! If you mean by "better value" that they will not cost you as much, I say yes. There are some Franklins that are simply hard to find in FBL, and very expensive in slabbed form. There are still a lot of gems in the raw out there to find. You just need a little luck finding them. Good luck whichever way you decide to go.....Ken
