1984 double stamped? help

I seen a 1984 double stamped coin on yahoo auctions for hundreds of dollars and looked at my lincoln cent book and think I too have this coin. I live in a small town pop.900 and don.t know where to take the coin or even trust someone ,could someone look at this pic and tell if it is or not. thanks

    Spend 35 dollars and send it in for grading to PCGS. Then you know for sure and have it in a slab.

    It is very hard to tell from that scan if you have a true doubled die (not double stamp) or not.

    I would not waste time and money sending it to PCGS. Because, if it is not a doubled die, then you just wasted 30 dollars for a cent.

    True 1984 doubled dies do not cost hundreds of dollars. They can be had for less than $200.00 in unc and much cheaper in circ grades.

    thepesokid, there are 2 different 1984 doubled die cents. The best one has a doubled ear and I can't see it on your scan. The other one has doubling on 'IN GOD WE TRUST" and you will need a magnifing glass to see it.
