How can I tell the difference like I am looking at my 1965 SMS Dime and I see one that says CA for Design but how can i tell if mine is that design?

CA means Cameo.

Some Proofs are CA= cameo ,some DCAM=deep cameo.
Its the difference in contrast from the mirror-like fields,and the frostyness of the devices.

A cameo 1965 SMS dime is pretty cool. Most arent cams I think.

Mine is a Cameo than because in the box it has a letter from the mint saying it included a Cameo Dime so I guess I know now woohoo......I should send it in I guess for grading its been in the box since 1965.......

I miss understood the letter. It states it includes 3 Clads Coins, I have done some reading on it. But it does appear to me to be a cameo is a beautiful coin.

PCGS has a few SMS's graded in Cameo. Haven't checked NGC.
