Quiz -- which date has the most denomination/mint mark combinations?

quarter
half dollar
silver dollar

However, there may be other date that have more possibilities, when mint marks are considers

    It would take 54 coins to make up a complete set of 1873 coins, counting all mintmarks, arrows/no arrows, open/closed 3 on the 3CN, etc. That's a large set! I don't know if it can be topped.

    I wonder how many people remember Harry X Boosel, "Mr. 1873".

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
