The pic looks like it could never cross at that grade. Bad pic maybe but it doesnt show a whole lot of frost

The first I have ever heard of AH was when I join these boards last month. Obviously Im not a big modern coinage collector but reading the fans here that are gungho modern has me thinking. Is AH an attribute of a strong strike like and FBL or FH? When did the slab companies start with this designation?

The Accent Hair variety has an interesting story. The original JFK proof was designed with a certain hair design (particularly over the ear). If I remember correctly, Jackie saw it and hated it - they'd already produced bunches of the proofs, though, and made them into proof sets. After her reaction, they toned down the hair style, giving the mint the hair variety that was used pretty much until the "hair redo" days in the 90s.

So the AH variety is not nearly as common as the normal variety, and carries a premium both in interest and price.
