Actually, if any Board members have bought from tonecoin2003 and would like to donate a coin of his to CoinReports I would greatly appreciate it. All of his coins look the same and I would think it would be useful to have a couple of examples of his work on the website for others to see. (That is of course IF his coins are in fact AT and would be BB by PCGS image )

Some bidders can't even take an OBVIOUS hint!?

His coins are SO poor and obvious, it is absolutely amazing anyone places a bid.

well I didn't not until the coin hit $20.00 that was all I would have paid for a ATed common Morgan.

By, " ...All of his coins look the same ...," do you mean atrocious? image

I have two. One I bought under his other handle of bbycoin. PCI slabbed them both.

Russ -- if you are so inclined, I know how much you like PCI slabs, but I'd like to send them off to PCGS, and if BBed, post them on the site. I'm contemplating even listing who the sellers are. I think I can legally do it without ramification since we would just be reporting what the grading service did with the coin, no personal opinions.

    Let me know,

    Michael,

I would do that, except I have plans for the coins.image Not as large a scale as you're doing, but educational nonetheless.

As far as it getting into a PCGS slab, when a coin is ATed is the process immediate? Could a coin have chemicals added, be sent to PCGS then tone after being in the slab. My first guess is AT on this coin but being in the slab would tell me no AT.

There is simply no way this coin could get into a reputable holder... ever (except an ANACS net grade).

AT is immediate, and this is incredibly blatant.
