Storage for 1969 Topps Basketball Tall Boys

This is my first post in the forum, and I finally decided to get signed up after reading through a number of the threads. I am currently putting together a 1969 Topps Basketball set through PSA's registry. I am sure it will be a slow process with this set. It seems as though the prices have jumped exponentially in the last six months. Anyway, my question for all of you is, have any of you been able to find storage boxes for these holders. I have a number of them just stacked up right now, and I haven't been able to find anything that will firmly hold them in place. I also wanted to see if anyone knew what the SMR value of a 1961 Fleer Basketball PSA 6 set would be. Any help would be appreciated. Dilferaff

    Welcome dilferaff,

I don't collect basketball cards, but I wish you luck on this set after what I've read in other posts in the past week.

As for the '61 Fleer set, SMR lists a complete 66 card set in PSA 6 at $3483.

    JEB.

FYI, regarding the '61 Fleer set, I just noticed this note on the SMR:

"A complete PSA graded set (mostly 8's, with some 9's and 10's) sold for $38,705"

    JEB.
  • Thanks JEB...I think I am going to go ahead and start on that set while I finish up the 1969 set. I doubt I will ever try to put together a baseball set, for the sole reason that I am not sure that I have the patience to put togehter a set of 600+ cards. Thanks again for the info. Dilferaff
  • Psa sells these nice red storage boxes... plastic... about $5-$6 each...
holds either 20 regular sized cards or 6 or 8 tall boys...
