Anyone ever hear of this "silver" test?

This is from an ebay auction for a fake coin. The seller states "the coin dealer demonstrated the “silver” test by using a type of liquid that illuminates silver when applied. Only specks of the coin illuminated, thus proving there is silver in the coin,...."

They are several chemicals out there to determine all types of content in metals and contaminates.I use a solution that comes in a 3 oz. bottle that you put a drop on gears and shafts to determine if salt water caused a failure or is pesent in gear housings, engine and tranmission componets. It was 125. and worth every penny! The same company offers other products to determine the quality of alloys and deterioration of them!image
