1964 KENNEDY HALF COLLECTION

Question for the experts. If I were going to put together a collection of only the first year Kennedy Half Dollar, how many coins would I need, both Regular Strikes and Proof.
I've come up with an eight (8) count. Would this be correct:
Regular Strike: 1964; 1964-D
Proof Strike: 1964; 1964 CAM; 1964 DCAM; 1964 Accented Hair; 1964 CAM Accented Hair; 1964 DCAM Accented Hair
Thanks,

Russ: Thanks for the reply. How many die varieties are there? And, would these only be 1964 variety? I'm not that familar with the Kennedy but thought a first year collection would be fun to put together. Have you any other suggestions for a fun set? Keep in mind I want to do this without a "major" investment. I would guess in the MS65/66 range for both strikes unless the price is reasonable for higher grades.
Many thanks,

Bunches and bunches, and not just for the 1964 halves. Between the proof and business strike coins, Wiles has 60 die varieties just for the 1964. Many are very minor, though.

I agree.

You might spice it up by adding some toners.

A deep cameo Accented Hair won't come cheap, but the rest should be easy.

You may remember my showing this coin earlier...it's my first Kennedy toner and what has got me thinking about the 1964 set.

Russ:
By the way, when I first put this coin up you noted it was an Accented Hair. Thanks for the tip. It's being resubmitted for this along with the hope of getting the CAM as well. It has the truncated serif, broken rays and the stright G. Who knew!
Thanks for the tip and help.

Looks even better in person. Thanks for the kind comment.
