EXTREME COINS: What would that mean?

nwcsnwcs Posts: 13,386 ✭✭✭
OK, it seems that in our attention deficit disorder society everything must be labeled with "EXTREME" since every other word has been rendered meaningless by advertising. You have Extreme Engineering on Discovery. Extreme music. Extreme weather specials on the weather channel. Extreme shoes, shirts, hats, cars, etc.

So what would EXTREME COINS mean? And which company will be the first to start using the term in their advertising?

Hey, if any of you ebay dealers want to use that term "EXTREME Q" (or EXTREME QUALITY) I'll need a royalty. image I'll take it in the form of a free morgan dollar.

An example of an extreme coin would be the Armon Carter 1794 Silver Dollar in PCGS MS-66.

The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

    extremely stupid.

the most extreme stupidity are those little chevy trucks that blare out w/ the word "extreme" painted on every which side. they're just regular trucks w/ more plastic glued to 'em.

& you know how much i hate plastic! image

An extreme coin? How about a Swedish 10 dallar from around 1740? Copper plate coin over two feet across weighing 49 pounds. Or the Russian copper pattern Rouble, six inches in diameter and two inches thick. Six foot diameter Yap stone money? Or at the other extreme India gold fanams, 1/3 the diameter of a US three cent silver coin.
