Question: What is a run of Silver Eagles worth?

I am asking for a customer, as we do not deal in these coins. It is a double run of one-ounce silver eagles between 1986 and 2001, all in the original packages with receipts, and they are all proofs. According to Trends, I think there are a couple of better dates. I checked every coin out, and all are untoned. My questions are:

1. What was the issue price on these originally?
2. How much would a set like this sell for today?
3. What's the best venue for selling such sets?

I'll pass your replies on. If this should be in a different forum, please let me know!

i track the eagles periodically. the value ranges from $700 to about $1000 - $1000 being from a dealer. originally they sell for $24, it could have been lower in '86.

I think Ebay is a pretty good place to sell them. Quality is pretty consistent in Proof Eagles so buyers don't feel that they're goona get a "junk" coin.

Does it include the 1995-W? That coin alone is going for over the value of the rest of the set.
