OK! So what would you sell these coins for on Ebay...

It's obvious that I don't really know the true value of these coins. I don't have PICS for all the coins. What do you think is a fair price for the following coins?

1956 Washington Quarter PCGS PR67CAM
1956 Washington Quarter PCGS PR68CAM
1960 Franklin Half Dollar PCGS PR67CAM
1962 Franklin Half Dollar PCGS PR67CAM
1970S Jefferson Nickel PCGS PR67CAM (Toning has started)
1881 Shield 5C PCGS PR65 imageimageimageimage

  • YES! I had these on Ebay and after checking all available data on the web. greysheet and Heritage data placed, what I believe to be, a fair price. No-one met the reserve. Yes, these coins are for sale!!!

you will be lucky to sell the quarters and Jeff for what it cost to slab them. the frankie you may get $100.00 each but I won't hold my breath for it. the Shield 5C I see that puppy $700.00 plus.

  • Thanks for the info. The shield... The bid was 405.00. I had a reserve of $540.00 which I thought was fair.

Unless that shield nickel has something "different" going for it, most bidders aren't going to push the envelope on that coin. They've got minus signs all over the Greysheet for the type and from my experience they usually trade right around bid, which would be approximately where your coin ended up. $425-$475. Again, unless your coin has something "differen't" going for it. Good luck with the coins!

    hey jim

start all the coins at $1 and let them sell if you want to sell them. place a reserve on the shield nickel at 10% back of grey sheet ask and a BIN at ask. they should all sell.

i echo keets senitments. start em at face with no reserve if you want to sell. that $405 is not necessarily indicative of the final price it would reach if you had no reserve. many potential bidders likely passed when they saw the reserve. i would bet if you sold the same coin again in this manner the final bid will be higher than $405.

I bought a 1956 Washington in 68CAM for $41 about 18 months ago, and I think the market on them has softened. The 67 CAM probably won't bring $30.
