Return shipping cost for free submissions

Anyone else notice that the return shipping fee for the four free submissions is higher than than the return fees for other submissions? Being a member is still a good deal, but why the higher fee for the free submissions?

  • Every form they have seems to have a different shipping fee, postage increases I guess. I go to fill out an online submission and check the rates there and use those since it seems to be the most up to date. I just right a note on form that I used current s+h rates. Some of the forms they hand out are 2 years old.image

My freebies shipping form was $15.85 from 05/01 and the current rates are $13.50 and I was charged the lower no problem.

Pennies make dollars, and dollars make slabs!

....inflation must be kicking in again this dollar says spend by Dec. 31 2004!

  • PCGS uses a bunch of old submission forms. In my Gold member package that I received less than a month ago, there was a new shipping rate schedule and most of the rates were lower than before.
Anyway, two of my submissions that are in the system now, require me to imput my zip code for identification. This is because the two numbers were recently used in June of 2002 for other submissions.
