I've travelled with them... in my checked bags.
Give Blood (Red Bags) & Platelets (Yellow Bags)!
  • I'm not checking any baggage because it is a short trip. I will only be gone for 2 days. I'm only flying because it is quicker than driving.

I'd call the airline, but unless you medically need them on-board, I doubt they will allow it. You clearly look very suspicious.

  • I did call the airline at the suggestion of another member and they told me that as long as I had the doctor's perscription, I could bring them on board with me.

Thanks for your help and ideas, folks. image

  • It's always a good idea to take your medication and documents (passport, wallet, return ticket, etc.) onboard as carry-on. If your checked luggage gets lost with these essentials inside, you're in trouble.
  • i know of a couple who fly very frequently. and they never have any luggage. what they do is send everything to their destinaiton by fed-ex. of course, they're multi-millionaries but isn't that a great idea image i'd surely do it if i had the money.
    Life's a journey, not a destination.

  • I agree that you should call the airline also but so far I have no problems. I usually pack them in the luggage but Im not worried if they get lost. The medicine I always carry on board though. It's harder to get replaced.

I don't think the syringes would be the issue but rather the needles
