Registry set collectors- when you reach your goal, do you hang onto the set, or sell it?

Registry set collectors- when you reach your goal, (by completing the set, reaching a certain position in the Registry, etc. ) do you keep the set, or do you sell it? And I would appreciate it if you told me your reasons for either keeping the set, or selling it.

I am holding onto my set.I am still looking to upgrade where possible. I also am of the opinion that the Lincolns will increase in value as the 100th anniversary(2009) approaches.

Keep it, and look for upgrades where needed and affordable. I do have a couple sets I've consider just keeping type examples from.... CS Ikes, PR Ikes, PR SBA, but so far I have held out.

I hold onto my set and upgrade if possible. I always try to keep my best coins. Why? Because I collect coins that I really like. I suppose at some price I would part with anything and start something new.

I always sold mine, but sometimes I had seller's remorse afterwards. I sure wish I had the type sets I've sold.

I'm a bit schizophrenic as a collector. When I complete something, I lose interest fast, and there are only so many upgrades one can do. So off I go on another pursuit, but in order to afford my new pursuit, I end up selling (or breaking up) my completed sets. I wish I weren't like this. I guess I suffer from the "Set Completion Blues" when I finish something. While not a Registry set, I'm just about to finish a complete set of Irish coinage from 1928-69 in three Dansco albums (every date and denomination- both a type set AND a date set!). This is a project I've worked on for a little over a year, and invested at least $2,000 in, maybe more. But there is some scarce stuff in there. I'll be faced with a dilemma on what to do with it when I'm done.
