    That's one wild Franklin! Severe case of machine doubling as it looks, but any doubling is subject to a wide variety of issues.

    Hard to tell for sure, but it either looks like very late die state or eroded dies. Or one of those kind of machine done or whatever they do to those hobo nickels.
