Collector's Club Submissions SUCK!!!!

Even though the info on the PCGS website states that you get four (4) free "regular" submissions, not economy, with your Collector's Club Membership.
Don't expect PCGS to process them as if they are regular submissions.
They are more likely to be processed at "their" discretion and do not apply to the time constraints that other "regular" submissions are guaranted by.
This is another fine example of how PCGS is losing ground on NGC as far as customer service.
Good job PCGS!!!

I suspect that if NGC was getting the same number of submissions (and they may be for all I know) I suspect they might have similiar problems with backlog.

I have no problem with the free submission being handled differently than regular submissions but then don't tout the submissions as "regular" submissions in all of your PCGS Collector's Club literature and website.
Great customer service.
Butch
about 3 weeks and I got 3 crossovers out of it. I think PCGS is way backed up right now. Try e-mailing BJ and
give her the invoice number.
I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.

<< <i>Well I am at four business weeks right now and my coins went in two full weeks prior to St. Louis. >>
Was PCGS doing on-site grading at that show? If so, it negates the turnaround time guarantee for regular submissions so it would make perfect sense that it would be delayed.

Reading this board, PCGS was (is still?) running late, and looking for ways to make some of it up - it has to come out of someone's hide.
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
now, don't go and accuse me of defending PCGS, being a homer or drinking Kool-aid, but why harp on this stuff?? sit still, take a deep breath and let them grade your coins. remember, the sun doesn't rise and shine to warm your butt!!!! whats the hurry anyway??

<< <i>Did you mark the outside of the letter to let them know it was a Clum submission?? >>
You mean actually follow the directions that come with the materials?
Russ, NCNE
Since there was a show with on-site grading since your submission went in, it is not surprising that it isn't done yet. The preclusion is very clearly stated on both the submissions page and the show schedule page.
I have one in that hit a day earlier than yours (16th business day today), and I'm not sweating it.

While complementary submissions are not guaranteed, it is our goal to process all Collectors Club complimentary submissions in a timely manner. When a Collectors Club submission is received it is coded in our system as a Regular submission, no distinction is made on the order differentiating whether it is a complimentary or paid submission.

P.S. That box was insured for $1600, which is a lot for this ole collector.
