How about some hand signals--I am at it again--I may move up in the next week or so. I have a 1918-D MS63, a 1917-S MS63FB coming my way anytime now.

Ah Ha....... I saw that 18D you got. Looked real decent. Only question is what are you going to do with the 30S you won also? Heck Tony I wanted it for my AU Set. Are you starting a AU Set also ? image

    Ken,

I am planning on using the AU 30-S as a place holder until something else comes along. I did start a set with my extras, but there is no real interest in that group.

I am somewhat looking for a 42/41-D to make the short set complete, but that will be another circulated coin.

    Beth,

I have a second set listed half-heartedly. It is made up of a few duplicate coins. My main focus is the set with varieties. I have now listed the set as basic just becuase they let me. (I am not sure how long I will leave it there before removing it).

And my varieties set has a couple of circulated coins, and I know I will be adding more--some of those tough dates are tough on the pocket book, too.

Thank you for using hand signalsimage

I also have a second raw mercury dime set trying for XF/AU,

I still need any 1916-d but do have all the other dimes some need upgraded but still a nice set with some nice AU/UNC.

To tell you the truth it now more fun upgrading the lower grade set than working on the Registry set. I guess my pockets aren't as deep as they need to be. It will take a long time to complete the set,

I will complete the set some day.

    Marc,

I have in the past entered stuff before it was in hand, but some Greg guy use to complain about people doing that, so at least this time I am waiting becuase, I am sure that 18D will get me to move.

And, congrats on adding your two coins!

And, LIST YOUR SET IN THE VARIETIES!image

    Tony,

I remember that thread, many comments on that - I recall it narrowed down to once the goods were paid for - theoretically they belong to you so I guess some do that. I myself usually wait to see the actual coin(s) as being a fussy buyer I usually want to make sure I like the coins. Once I add them to the Registry I know I can live with their beauty image

LOL, your pushing me huh? I hardly ever go to the varieties, why are you doing this to me???image

Beth I started a second set with AU and Toned coins that are extra. Just could not part with the toned coins. Then a wild hair popped up and started a second set at NGC with NGC, AU and the Toned coins. Just can't resist the Mercs even if duplicates are bought. Opps almost forgot the ONE COIN variety set that Tony conned me into starting with his thread about two sets. image Most of these are expendable coins that will be sold if something real interesting comes along.

Tony when its time for the 30S to go Bye Bye let me know. ...image

    Marc,

Just having some fun. What the heck if PCGS is going to let the same set be listed twice, why not? If everyone listed on both there wouldn't be any controversy. The ratings would probably be the same on both with varieties and basic. I wish everyone would list twice. Afterall the top set is listed on both, why shouldn't the rest of us be listed twice.
