Question for King Kellogg, or anyone else.

Larry: What can you tell me about the 1970 Kelloggs Bob Gibson IP variation? How hard is it to find? Does the pop report reflect its true scarcity? Should the registry set include it?
Strong buyer of 1970 Kelloggs Football & 1971 Kelloggs Baseball and Football. Please help me find cards!
I have a few hundred extra PSA graded 1971 Kellogg's cards. E-mail for price list. Looking for 1970 Topps Supers in PSA 9 too.

There are two Gibsons variations. One is 1959 innings pitched is "76", and the other variation is that it is "blank". They're supposed to be the same value, but the "blank" version is far more rare. I've never even seen the balnk version, but it doesn't interest me anyway.

The Pop report is messed up on this right now. First they lumped all Gibsons together before recognizing that there is a blank variation. Then they separated them into three categories: All the ones lumped together was one category, IP blank was a second category, and the IP 76 was a thir category. In other words once they started recognizing the variation they started from scratch. Now the Pop report appears totally wrong as it lists only two categories. It lists 15 total cards graded of the IP 76 which is just flat wrong because there are hundreds of them and 307 total cards graded of IP Blank which is also totally wrong. The 307 cards graded were the cards graded before the variation was recognized. They were almost all of the IP 76 variety!! Not the Blank versions!!

    Confused? Good.
