yet another ebay look-alike scam ?

got this today:

if you click on the link, it comes up w/ : http://www.e-butrie.com/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll/, a domain that's been registered all the way back since ..... may 5. BOGUS???

BTW, been browsing ebay a bit lately, haven't bid on a thing

    Marty, I just slammed Rusty in another thread because he attacked Singapore. I guess you could call me a peace maker.
  • Lot of bad spelling. They would be able to get more newbies if they corrected their spelling.

    Ive had a lot of confrontations with russian scammers.

    the scam is very convincing. heck , i only assumed it was a scam because i haven;t bid on anything in many months.

  • Apparantly, these guys troll eBay for users who use their email address as a username. I guess it's time to change my user name to hide my email address, because I've gotten quite a few of this scams in the last several months.
