    ::Whew::!
You scared me. I had to look. Yep, still holdering (strong) to 52nd place. . . image

  • Not your kind of activity Braddick! image Most people are going for 1'st place, not last image

I'm done selling a few gold coins of mine (well I might sell one more). So my downgrading is at an end. I am in 11'Th. I have one coin at PCGS I'm hoping will be ready soon. I am ready to buy another if I find the right coin for the right price. So I hope to claw my way up to a solid top 10 before the end of the summer.....

    Oh, Heck!!

I'm down to fifty-first; I need some newbies to join. When my next batch of coins comes in ( thanks, Carl) I should vault a couple of places into the forties!!!!!

  • Wondo, those should arrive by tomorrow.

Have you looked at Braddick's set? You are %2 complete and you beat his set. The only sets he beats are %1 complete. His "best of the worst known" is an amazing %27 complete!!!!! He has an average grade of less than 4!!!!!

It is a great concept. It is just too bad Braddick has to pay a premium for some of those worst known, low pop coins.

Braddick's set probably claims lower pops than 90% or so of the other sets. That is a claim to fame.

I'm holding on to #7 for now. It seems to me that someone dropped out. Just 0.02 of a point and I'd be in #6. All the folks ahead of me are really big spenders. I pray that I can keep in the top 10. The complete type set is really cool, I'd just wish that more folks would show pictures of theirs.

I could drop in new. I think I would start at #8 if I register the combination of my 20th century gold & my 1972-1964 copper/nickel/silver sets.

Would that be the type of newbie you need?

Brian, it is either that or I register mine in the C/S/N sets image

Actually I was thinking of working on finishing nickels, all the basic silver types then copper with gold and minor types last. I do like watching tjkillian and expect to see Wondo move up. So maybe you should register in the complete set and we can all be on the same page image

Poor Braddick - as long as people enter 1 or 2 coins he'll never make the bottom of the listimage

If they ever weight the set, Wondo will smoke my whole set with one coin. You know MS65FH SLQs and MS67FS Jeffs, MS62 Trade Dollars don't go very far against his material.

I just added a 1807 Quarter. Not too high of a grade (VG-08), but it was enough for me to go from #7 to #6. Wondo is an up and coming type collector. Now that he has started to buy the easy stuff, he will shoot quickly to the top 5.

    Tom,

You flatter me. image My road will be long and slow. I'm trying to track down some copper right now. Anybody have favorite early copper dealers? image

Just a quick visit from an old Registry guy. I've seen many of you on the other forums, but thought I'd drop in and see how things were goin' here.

Three cheers for you Complete Type folks, no matter what the grade average or level of completion. It's the King of Sets, no doubt about it.
