Conder101: Another new sample slab

Hi,

Once again I found another slab (with the help of airplanenut), this time a sample that is not listed in the book. I was pretty excited! It is a ACG 13 type with just the company name and ACCUGRADE in bold letters. It is graded MS-65, but would barely make a 63 if I graded it. Have you seen of these before?

    Cameron,

Would this discovery be the coin I pointed you to instead of buying it myself? image

Yes, Jeremy this is the one that you pointed me too (both of us not seeing a pic or a description). I had forgotten that you pointed it out and edited my comment above. Sorry.

How many total? I don't know. I have two seperate groups - one for my personal collection and any others of the same type for sale or a future sale. I would guesstimate around 150.

    Cameron,

I got a Bowers and Merena PCGS sample slab with a New Hampshire quarter in it in St. Louis this past weekend. If you'd like, it I'd be happy to give it to you.

No i have never seen an ACG sample slab before. And I agree this would be an ACG13S1 slab. As to the grade, rember it is best to take any grades seen on sample slabs with a grain of salt. In many if not most cases the coins are not graded but are just placed in holders and all of the coins have the same grade number applied without regard to what the coins actually are.

If I send you a list of the varieties I am missing could you see if you have any duplicates I could use?

Sure Conder101. Most of mine are the common types, but I don't mind looking.
