Maine Rare coins is crazy

I was at a coin show today the pcgs dealer there was the stupidest or laziest manybe both guy I have ever seen. I had run out of quarter 2x2 and put my xf/au Barber quarter in a used 2x2. it had the word damage on it. I ask the pcgs dealer to grade it and he said it won't grade because it was damaged. I ask where is the damage. he said it had been cleaned. that didn't sound right to me it have the nice dark toning of a older coin. he said I should have looked at the 2x2 before I bought it. it state it was damaged. he also said my other coins wasn't worth submitting because they where not mint state.
a type I 1917 xf/au SLQ and a vf 1921 peace dollar. I kind of think I sould be the judge of that not him. these are coins I already had.
the new ones I got today are a bu 1909 V nickel and a bu 1924 slq. the quarter is blast white and looks nice. the nickel has the nice dark tone.

I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.

many, many long time dealers do not believe in slabbing circ material, even key dates. except for the better dates, i tend to agree with them. just a waste of $$$.
