Can anyone tell me what the designation DCAM means in a description of proof sets. I see advertised Clad Statehood Qiuarters PCGS PR69DCAM. Thanks much Jan
When designating proofs, CAMeo and Deep CAMeo are designations used to denote where the devices on the coin are frosty white and they contrast heavily with the mirrorlike finish of the coin. If you look around Ebay you should be able to see examples of both. CAM is frost that has significant contrast, DCAM is very heavy contrast. These types of questions you want to put up in the US Coin board as this is the forum where we talk about US Coins and such
You might also want to enable your PM function so you can receive private messages as most people who would want to contact you about coins would want to do so via that function.
