Why do you submit to services?

Just curious why people submit to services. For me, I submit mostly for protection of the item, and then to have my idea of the grade corroborated by people far more experienced than myself. And, very rarely, for resale.

For those of you who do not submit, you can safely ignore this thread.

You need to add the answer "To irritate Karl". image

Most of the time I'm slabbing for resale. For my own collection, I have raw and slabbed, but I don't usually go out of my way to slab my own stuff. I don't mind purchasing slabbed for my collection, but I don' t see the need in slabbing the raw coins. Albums need love too image
Resale is much better with a slabbed coin over raw, MOST OF THE TIME. It depends on the value of the coin too. I don't bother for anything under $100. I'll usually stockpile the cheapies and wait for ANACS $10 special.

I actually did think of having a category of "For annoying the slab haters" image
