Thoughts on non FB Roosevelt values

Now that the FB designation has been added to the Roosevelt dimes, what is eveyone's thoughts on where the values of the non FB Roosevelts will go. Grades of MS67 seemed to have an upward trend for a while, but will they level off or come back down some without the FB designation?

who posted that he felt FB or NGC FT would be valued at about double current non FB & FT Roosies. The Roosie
dime ( ms67 grade and up) has escalated in value quite a bit over the last year or so but has recently dropped
down to more reasonable levels. With the exception of a few low pop MS67's and the ultra graded MS68's which
have actually continued on there upward spiral, I believe these low pop 7's and 8's will hold most of ther current
value while there FB counterparts will command a substantial premium. Right now I'm still pursuing non FB Roosies
but only to fill a hole until a nice FB comes along. I'm still having trouble finding low pop non FB Roosies.
All it will take is a few more key collectors who want to build the ultimate set that could push some of the ultra
graded and low pop FB Roosie prices into the stratosphere. So I guess the correct answer is...Only Time Will Tell

<< <i>Personally I think non-FB's are going to go the way of the non-FBL Franklins - totally undervalued for the foreseeable future and an excellent buy for someone who wants to put together a nice set of coins to leave for their kids.

Complete agreement. The move to "upgrade" to FB/FT's will push their prices up and those without the designation will find no/few buyers at current levels. So, sellers will have to reduce their prices to dump their existing non-FB/FT coins. NO reason to be in a hurry for these coins. The funny part is, I think most dates are far more common in FB/FT than some will anticipate and they will be overpaying for all but a few dates.
