David, it worries me seeing many people competing for common coins to complete registry sets.

I'd like you to comment on the registry craze, in particular to people competeing to get fairly common coins in high grade by paying thousands of dollars to get coins that may not even be conditionally rare just to move up in the registry for a partiucular series. I'm afraid when some of these people try to sell there high grade common coins some day, they will get burned very badly and that there maybe negative consequences for the hobby, any thoughts on this David ? The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

The buyer has the choice and that's OK. My opinion is basd on my prejudices, yours is based on your prejudices. What I think is common might be your wonder coin. The market is pretty efficient long term. High prices are usually caused by big demand. I would advise all buyers to buy what they personally like and have fun with your coins!
