The mint sets I bought last year sucked so bad think I'm gonna pass on 'em this year. Can get better out of pocket change Silver proof set is 'bout all I'm interested in... just so I don't have to pay $100 for it later

The 2002 half dollars and dollars, available only from the mint, were nicer in the mint sets than from the rolls and bags. This might not be true in 2003 because I've heard of a some MS 67 2003 half dollars (PCGS), that are coming from either rolls or bags. Almost all the other coins in the last few years' mint sets can be found in much nicer condition in bank rolls. (Most of the coins in these sets have been scraped while packaging?). The only exception to this are the cents, I've seen many MS 68+ examples.
