    Using acid = restored date.

    The coin looks OK, but based on the photos I couldn't be sure it was an overdate. It would probably be easier to tell in person, though.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    Restored dates, if mentioned or easily detectable by novices do have a cheaper way to fill that missing hole in the collection.
