Yeah Baby! Proof Barber quarters heat up some more!

Welcome to the newest entry to the Proof Barber Quarters, the Driftwood Proof Barber Quarters Set. I am really stoked about this! A dead series seams to be waking up with a vengeance. I am not unhappy to be knocked down a notch by such a fine collection!

    wow the barber proof quarters are so hard to get neat nice coins even a set listed no matter what the weighting or position is a rare incredible item

    as can you imagine a set of proofs from the late 19 early 20 century quarters in one of the most undervalued low pop series out there

    incredible! and where deep cameos even cameos are basically rare/ almost non existant after 1900

    i luv it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    sincerely michael

    How come nobody has picked up the 92 68DCAM from what's his name. Is it that overpriced for a poptop (or is it toppop?)? Has anybody seen this coin? It might look good in my registry type set........

    I wish!!!! I set a budget and don't intend to extend beyond it. That coin, I'm sure is well into five figures. I guess it's up to Scher or Driftwood on that one.

    'Driftwood' has registered 4 other proof sets as far as I can tell.
    All within the past week.

    Barber Proof Quarters==79% complete
    Barber Proof Halves===67% YES !
    Barber Proof Dimes===50%
    Twenty Cent Proofs==80%
    Shield Nickel Proofs==95% YES !

    Driftwood has excellent taste !image

    By the way, I have some duplicate PR Barber Halves, if anyone is interested.

    Zerbe,

    When are you going to put together a set of proof Barber Quarters?

    Or, do you have one brewing up already that we don't know about?image

    Oldcameo, I have a complete set of NGC PR68 Barbers that I started 7 years ago, and finished in less than a year because nobody was collecting the PR Barber Quarters back then, and I am thinking of trying to cross them to PCGS and most will probably be Cameo and Deep Cameo.

    Crossed or not, Zerbe, I'll bet that is one sweet collection!
