And who would buy the coin for $39k from an unrated seller on yahoo! auctions?

I see plenty of high priced coins, all ending on the same day and as a bonus ZERO feedback. Sounds like a nice vacation coming up in a week or so. imageimageimage

Nobody is buying though, can't understand whyimageimageimage

ICG does have a guarantee. It would be interesting to hear if any board members have ever submitted a coin for a review under the guarantee.

  • Damaged rims, uncirculated look. Hmmmmm...Cleaned? conserved? It looks strange to me.

I did submit an ICG coin for guarantee - cost me $40 and 45 days for them to say the coin stands as graded.

YUK!!!!! I wouldn't buy that coin even at half the price. 67!!!!! B.S.

There is a board member here with a 64 seated half in his sig. line, [tom] that is the way one should look. But the one on ebay looks like most seated halves in mint state as far as luster goes with the big luster break to the right of the portrait.

It's hard to enjoy a coin like that with such bad pics (they're so bad the coin looks like a DDO/DDR).

Same scam as always...pictures have been stolen from real dealers. This "seller" has actually INCREASED the price over what the real coins are selling for elsewhere; not at all greedy, eh? A number of these coins are in Harry Laibstain's inventory; I just gave them a quick call to let them know what was happening.

  • THAT coin doesn't do it for me either! Anyone have any question that the coin has been dipped more than a few times in it's life......the most recent time just before being graded? image

Nope......give me no-question natural knockout monster toning on Ms Liberty... or give me death. (umm......that sounds vaguely familiar?) image
