rainbow luv bug!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice! See how the centers of that Liberty Walker has more of a 'silvery' appearance vs a pure 'white' look?
That can't be faked- that's how I know this one is absolutely untouched- undoctored and purely original.

I mean, you can tell right off, but the above is confirmation.
Nice coin Michael!

______________Pat - I have an "album collection" of walkers. I put that in quotes because there are only 4 in it! It's because of what you said about the center skin of that coin! I look widely for such an appearance, and it's rare. It's rare because most of these coins, even in very high grade, have been dipped and are too bright. Those that have "monster toning" that accompanies the brightness have been either fiddled with or have undergone accelerated toning processes, theformer worse than the latter.

Nice coin Michael!

Michael - I think I love SKIN as much as you do. It's not as respected right now in the marketplace as it used to be, and I think the grading services have reflected this. But I think skin coins will make a comeback once collector tastes regenerate after being numbed by slabs and after they are dulled by all those shiny brilliant dipped pieces that start to turn. Originality will always win out.
Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

    hi there bige!!!!!!!!!!

this coin is not on www.pinnacle-rarities.com website
....................................................................... just a photograph of the coin by pinnacle

IF.................... this coin in my opinion was on pinnacle coins website it would be gone anyway probably within 5 seconds of it being posted

and then if they had this coin for sale it would most probably would have never made it to the site
as it would have been placed the minute anyone would have found out pinnacle had it for sale
as it would have been a very in demand coin in my opinion

as also in my opinion looking like this it would be one of if not the finest toned 41-s like this out there possibly anywhere in a 66 holder and a solid 66 at that!

    sorry for the confusion

    sincerely michael

    okie i will do that!!!!!

i like this coin as for me it is a value coin looking like this in an ms66 holder

as compaired to a real ms67 in the right holder..........LOL as a real ms67 in the right holder would be worth say 15k to 20k? yet for me this rainbow ms66 coin is still just as good a coin as a REAL ms67 because of the extraordinary qualities of this coin in its ms66 holder..................................... but the market values the grade and holder more than the actual coin!

    and that is okie

as still nonetheless this coin is before the huge price jump BUT

    most importantly

is just an incredibly unique looking coin with extraordinary qualities that puts it for me at least on par with a ms67 holdered coin

    and that is as below

totally thick skinned original undipped unmessed with coin
and the really REALLY RARE rainbow toning and eye appeal thereof!
and solid for the grade ms66
and a decent better than average strike for a 41-s

i think someone who had been an advanced collector for many years usually these are the ones that apprecaite coins like this
and it takes time to get there to appreacite these nuances and as a collector just doesnot happen overnight

I don't think that 1941-S ever did make it to our web site listings, but I can't remember for certain. I do remember, however, that the color is even prettier in person!

I almost always prefer an attractively (or, in this case, beautifully) toned coin like that to an untoned one. The toning imparts personality and uniqueness that make a coin stand out from the crowd. And, when you think about it, that is often a large part of what makes a coin desirable and special.

For those who prefer untoned pieces - I'm not saying there is necessarily anything wrong with them, just that I happen to prefer pretty, toned ones.

mark is right the coin never did make it to their web site

i know he had a chance to buy the coin and he did!

*************it is an amazing fantastic incredible MONSTER coin**************** in my opinion

AND STILL IS LOL........case proven at least by myself............lol and that is all that counts to me!!

    ***********************************************************************************
you would be surprised what mark comes up with that sometimes makes it to the website and sometimes does not!
