Crack a 1973 Proof Set?

I just got a 1973 Proof Set that seems to have some nice coins in it. Should I crack it and sent the coins in for individual grading?

I seem to get better grades when I send the whole set in than when I break the coins out. Don't know why because the coins look the same. If three of more coins in the set look like they are 69DCAM I'd send the set in and when the coins come back look at the losers as just part of the cost of playing the grading game. At least that's my new philosophy.
