Gold at over $600 an ounce?

I have an eBay auction ending in a few hours. In the auction I'm selling a single 1945, 2 peso gold coin, but the bid is already up over $35. That seems like an awful lot since the coin weighs in at around 1/20 oz of gold. Is my auction misleading? I feel that price is more equal to 2 coins rather than the one. What do you guys think?
