Can coins be in more than one set?

Can coins be used in more than one registry set at a time. For example, can my 1796 dime be used in a type set and the early dimes set simultaneously? Thanks in advance!!

Yes. In fact my most versitile coin is a 1964 10c Proof is in 9 different registry sets
