    If all he has is a personal PeePal account he can't take your CC even if he wanted to. You might want to be ready to transfer from your CC to your PeePal and THEN to his PeePal account. If he is the nice guy that you believe him to be then he might split the fee with you. Ya never know.image

    I've heard of that seller. They say he has a bionic eye. If you win, and the coin smells like sour cream, you might consider a return. Also, with his legendary grading prowess, if your thinking of an upgrade, you might reconsider.image

    For anybody who's bidding or planning to bid, please make sure you read the downside I noted about this coin. I really don't think it should have received the FBL designation.

    Russ, are you saying they are bumping non-FBL Franklins to FBL for nice toning? That would really be a stretch of market grading.

    I don't know about that. But, when I look at the coin, the lower bell lines are not unbroken. If I understand the criteria correctly, they should be unbroken in order to receive the FBL designation. I'll see if I can shoot a closeup and post it here for commentary. I may be misunderstanding the criteria.

    If that's FBL I have sold an awful lot of raw FBL Frankies for under $10. Doesn't look like FBL to me.

    I wonder if that was a mistake were they put a FBL in a non-FBL holder and that one in a FBL holder, in other words switched coins. That coin is obviously not FBL, at least with what my understanding of FBL is.

    I'm surprised you accepted the coin. That is not remotely close to FBL! Loss of the FBL desigantion is much more damaging to the price of a coin, than is a little dip residue, for which you claimed to have returned a number of coins. I'm glad to noted the problem in the auction description.

    What's the difference in price between a FBL and non-FBL of that date and grade? Wonder if it would have been worth it to send in under the PCGS guarantee.

    It's a very common date/grade, the difference in market value would be just a few bucks. And I'm not sure it'd come back non-FBL anyway.

    Any premium would be for the color, which looks pretty nice. Cool coin. image

    I can't believe that the coin is at 30.00 already!!!!! Even if it is a FBL, it's not worth 30.00!!! This scumbag seller's hands must have been shaking so hard when he took the picture that the obverse looks DDO!!! He must have been anticipating his PayPal account going skyhigh so as to afford more Kennedies. HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!!! It is A DDO!!!! I can't believe he is willing to take "chump change" for an obviously "high dollar" toned DDO 58-D Frankie!!! Go high or stay home, I'm in a sniping mode!

    No way this is FBL !!!! Just not.When i first saw reverse , i thought same thing-he did'nt mention the dd at all-Well neither did PCGS so your right-hes shaking badly
