Found a beautiful proof IHC at PNNA show today.....great mirrors AND great color!

Pacific Northwest Numismatics Association show...it was a great show with lots of fresh coins.

Look at this beauty. Gorgeous colors of magenta and yellow highlight VERY glassy mirrors.

As seems to be ALWAYS the case, the pics don't do it justice...especially since my camera skills blow.

And because it's "only" a PF63RB, it was actually affordable.

This cent has that special look. A true keeper.

Anyone else have some nice proof IHC to share?

NOTE:
PIC 008.jpg gives the closest idea of what the mirrors/color look like in person..................the others were in bad light.

    michael,

very cool IHC! and I even like the pic, but I know exactly what you mean when you say you need to see it in person to really appreciate the beauty.

    thanks for sharing.....

Nice find Slammer, toned IH proofs are a favorite of mine too. Problem is they're so tough to capture in a photo. Here's three brown beauties (1905 67BN, 1901 66BN & 1900 65BN, all NGC) and the reverse of a red proof:

I LOVE the obverse on that 1900! Princess went a little heavy on the rouge!image

Or she's really bad at paintball.

I'll bet that is a pretty coin.

This one I had was in an ANACS PR62 RB holder, but there wasn't much red or brown on it!

    shylock, lcm,

thanks for the eye-candy....very nice coins! I knew there were some good pics out there to be had.....

yup, the services have to call it BN or RB, when often the colors are off-the-chart wild......
