Question about Silver Submissions

I let my Gold membership expire. I have just a few high dollar coins I would like in PCGS slabs, three to be exact. My question is, is there a minimum number of coins you must submit under the Silver membership, or can I just send in the three? These are Morgans, so pre-1965.

I think there is no minimum if you pay $30 each.

Why not renew your Gold? That way the 3 will be free (plus a 4th if you have one), plus you'll have access to the online Pop report and all the levels of submission for the year.

Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you sumthin' . . . . that ain't no optical illusion, it only looks like an optical illusion.

There are a couple of reasons I am not going to renew the gold right now. One, last time I signed up it took a while to get the submission package from them with the free submission form. The other reason is I don't see having to send PCGS any more coins for quite a while, so I may as well renew whenever I do know I will have a lot of coins to send in. As far as the POP report, it is so out of whack now with all the crackouts and maxed out coins as to be useless as a current indicator of how many coins exist in the series I am involved in (Morgans). I have a pop report that is a year old, and just as useful for telling the relative scarcity of certain dates.
