Read about the Grandfather and the paper route. Now look at the sellers prior purchases

Why would anyone bid on this? The seller states "I have no idea what's in these bags nor do I have the time to search them all."
Crap Crap Crap!!!
Does anyone else have a major problem with these types of auctions?
I have icon envy.

    "Are eBay Buyers Stupid?"

    After last night I think most are. While looking for raw bust halves in VG to XF condition on eBay, I noticed that 90 percent of the raw coins were dipped, dipped, dipped, and/or polished, and they had bids on them. Not just any bids but the bids were at greysheet and above levels. That is stupid!

    Oh come on, the guy is selling $100 in wheaties. Firguring 3 cents a wheatie, the lot should go for around $300. If it gets into stupid money, them you can start making fun of the stupid buyers. But right now, the price is still in line! As for his story, as we all know half (maybe more) off the stories on E-Bay are Bull Crap!
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    just like PAPA TONY. i caught him buying loads of wheats, jeffs etc on ebay. he spins the same grandfather story. safe harbor notified, need to rid ebay of these sellers.

    Maybe the thread should read "Do eBay Sellers Think all Buyers are Stupid?"
    If anyone does know of a ligitimate online seller that has good wheats, I'm open to suggestions.

    120 Thousand Pennies! Man what I am doing wasting my time on Barbers when I could be collecting such a scarce series like cents? image Everyone loves a story, and despite all reason, hope, substance, rational, and common sense, people just HOPE it is true!
