    I had a gorgeous UNC 1909 VDB kicked for AT and I know darn well it's not! imageI feel a bit of your pain.

    Ken, the Artificial Color does not mean they think it has colorful artificial toning but rather that it's original color has been altered. mike
  • Thanks, Mike. What concerns me about that 1909 VDB is the fact that I bought an original roll in 1972. I have over the years sold some and given others to my kids and grandkids. I kept the very best and submitted it, only to get BB'd for color. I personally think some is full of it................Ken

    some Great coins there no matter what someone elses opinion is!!!!!!

    Sometimes they will BB a coin that has been improperly dipped as "questionable color". See the post Russ made about his Franklin that was BB, then made 66 when resubmitted.

    Ken, if you can post pictures maybe someone here can help you understand PCGS's reasoning behind these body bags. I sure like those 72 double dies! mike image
