My most recent purchase was an 1877 Indian head Xf-45, and 1872 Two center Vg-8.
Both coins are currently at PCGS, where I hoping for the grades I quoted ya!

I do have a grading guarantee on the 77, and the 72 two center not enough value to worry about it.

Bought them at are local show last weekend.

I just bought a F-12 1909-S Lincoln cent. Nothing special, but it was one of the last three coins I was missing for my circulated Lincoln set collection. Picked it up from my local dealer in town. Raw - $40. Think I got a fairly good deal. I may try and take a pic of it later.

I just received in the mail today a 1918/7-D Buffalo Nickel (restored date) image

It looks fantastic. Clear as day with the correct diagnostics.

Much better looking than the G and VG examples I had been looking at (and a lot less costly) image

A 1944P MS67 Merc Dime coming from a board member and a 1943S Merc Dime MS67FB coming from Northern Nevada Coin. Both coins coming from good people to deal with.

This Old Gal stopped by this morning so I snapped a new picture of her.

Good to see you Mac, congrats on the new purchase.

Mark -- that pattern must be dazzling in person. I especially love the way the reverse toned on that great design.
  • My newest coin. I got it when you-know-who (he is a board member) posted the picture and I could'nt resist.

I went to Ebay, and another board member ran up my bid, but I got it only 150% of the value. Typical for meimage

  • OK Will someone tell me how to post a picture on this message. I attached the file, and it only came up as an attachment.

An 1861 O No Motto Seated Half in a PCGS MS 65 from the Bowers auction in Baltimore.
I can't image anything (in fact, the coin didn't even have an image either in the catalogue or
    on the internet site).

It's an original coin which was in an album for a long time. Not a single mark on it, amazingly enough. If you tilt the coin, it appears prooflike around both obverse & reverse rims. Strike is typical for New Orleans coinage. Luster is present, but as it's an original coin, it is subtle. Has attractive toning on both sides.

1902 $2.50 PCGS64 from a local coin show. Already had a PCGS64 Liberty $2.50, but this one was so nice I couldn't leave it there.

By the way, I like Boiler's coin the best so far. Those patterns are so striking!
